Addis Butterfly : Pre-Order 3-4 weeks

This felt adornment is beautifully crafted with intricate details & is great for year-round decor! We work with women artisans in Kyrgyzstan to handcraft products using natural fibers and eco-friendly resources.

“Our girl Addi was a young, fun and full of life 16 year old Junior in high school when on June 15, 2021 we got the call no parent should ever receive. Addi has leukemia and you need to take her to ER immediately. We had no idea how that phone call would literally change everything that we know in our lives to be normal.

We would be immediately thrusted into a world of treatments (that offer no cure) a medical system that is built on making money and not saving lives and a world where our children do not have a voice, at least not one that could be heard.

Our girl would end up spending countless hours, days, weeks and months in the hospital. Enduring harsh chemo, multiple surgeries, over 700 blood product transfusions and more hospital clinic appointments while she was out on short stays then I can even count.

On November 10, 2021 we received the call that was filled with so much joy and love. Our girl was in remission. She would be admitted on December 9, 2021 to prepare for a non familial bone marrow transplant. She would spend 57 days in the hospital, 6 days in ICU and would finally ring the bell for being cancer free on February 1, 2022. What a beautiful day this was, she worked so hard to get here, to finally be able to go home and to start living again.

The walls would all come crumbling down once again on March 10, 2022 when we would be told that our girl’s cancer was back and she would only have a few weeks to live. It was truly by the grace of God that we were given seven more months before she would leave this world to walk hand in hand with Jesus. She would have endured more incredibly painful treatments with the hopes she would go into remission again.

While she was fighting she started a foundation called Addi’s Blankets Of Love where we send blankets and bedding to kids who are fighting like our girl did.

Addi didn’t like that the rooms were scary and that she didn’t feel comfortable at all in them. With the white sheets and crunchy blue blankets she wanted to change that and make all kiddos feel her love, the love of a fellow cancer warrior who to loved comfy sheets and blankets. 🧡😭🎗️🙏🦋

🦋Each butterfly or butterfly/decal combo will come with a photo card & in a drawstring bag. Decal alone purchases will not include a photo card or bag. 

🦋This is a PRE-ORDER item. Pre-orders will be open for approximately 72 hours (through MAY 6 2024). Estimated delivery to COZIE YOU is 3 weeks after pre-orders close. We expect to have the bulk shipment no later than MAY 27 2024 (barring any unforeseen delays). Once we receive our shipment, we will QC them and prep them for fulfillment.

🦋QC / prep/ fulfillment will take 2-3 BUSINESS DAYS after the BULK shipment arrives to us, Cozie You. We expect to ship all pre-orders no later than MAY 30 (barring any unforeseen delays beyond our control ).

🦋Any & all status updates (timing / shipping etc) will me made HERE if needed - (IE if there’s a delay) -  so that everyone has complete & identical visibility & information. All emails and messages will be auto-directed to the terms on this listing.

🦋Any other shop item purchased with Addis Butterfly will be shipped with Addis Butterfly.  

🦋Shop discounts or credits cannot be applied to fundraiser items.

🦋Returns/Chargebacks/Reversals cannot be accepted for fundraiser items (this is especially important).

🦋Although highly unlikely, we reserve the right to refuse service/cancel any order due to disruptive, disrespectful, or defamatory behavior(s) or message(s).  An immediate refund, less any fees imposed on us, will be issued to the form of payment used at time of purchase & your item will be forfeited.
